- Start by holding the cone with the pointed end facing down. Light the tip and let it burn for a short momentāabout 4mm
- After lighting, check that the smoke is flowing from the bottom hole of the cone.
- Place the cone on the backflow incense burner, ensuring that the hole at the base of the cone lines up with the hole on the burner
- Lastly, set up your incense burner in a location free from wind or drafts.
